2nd. Stop January 7, 2004 Yacolt, WA |
Dolly is really on the move - already traveled to the west coast - Washington state with "kd7jgg" ! |
After the not so "warm" welcome,
Dolly & Molly relax on the sofa sharing a cup of hot chocolate. After dinner, I think a shopping trip for shoes is in store for Dolly. Her little feet must be freezing! |

I had planned on going shopping after dinner, but Dolly and Molly found Barbie's old trunk full of cast off clothes and decided to play dress-up. Shoe shopping will have to wait. |
They played for quite awhile and both girls were quite sleepy, especially Dolly after her long trip here. She had quite a busy day. The girls got ready for bed, brushed their teeth, said their prayers and begged to sleep on the sofa where they can see me at the computer. Puff and Spot will probably curl up with them. For some reason, neither Dolly or Molly look very sleepy to me, look at those wide open eyes! |
Having a snack at Grammas Kitchen in Yacolt. The fruit and crème-puff looked so good! |
Our town is so small it doesn't even have a "Entering Yacolt" sign. |
We had to take Dolly to Burgerville, a Pacific North-West 50's style fast food chain that has great burgers. Dolly is standing on the serving tray hooked to the side of a beautiful 1971 Buick convertible that was on display. |
Dolly & Molly say goodbye while Sissy looks on. Parting is such sweet sorrow! Bye-bye Dolly, have fun on your travels. |
