Dolly sure loves Texas!  Dolly visits with her host "Fannin"  in Bonham, Texas

Dolly arrived in Texas today. Just the Kissys greeted her and helped her out of her box, she will meet the rest tomorrow after she has had a rest. She is going bowling tomorrow and then Friday she has a full day ahead of her. There are a lot of historical sites to visit, and we hope to visit the birthplace of legendary jazz guitarist, Charlie Christian.

A photographer from the online newspaper - North Texas E-News - is going to tag along with us Friday to do a story on Dolly and take pics. We're all so excited I don't know if we'll be able to sleep.

Dolly is quite the equestrian !

She visited a local antique store today, she is in the little red wagon

Another visit was to Coldwell Banker Real Estate, she likes it so well here she is looking for a home.

She said when her tour is over she might like to settle here -
Let's hope we have some high bidders in Texas!

Dolly makes the front page!

Starting New Year's Day, Travelin' Dolly began her year long charity tour of the US and Canada.  She has already taken in the sights of many states, but only has time to spend one week in each location, such is the demand for her presence.  Members of an e-Bay doll club are taking turns hosting Dolly and exposing her to the big and small of North American culture.  At the end of 2004, Travelin' Dolly and all of her souvenirs will be auctioned off on e-Bay.

Merle Isaacs is taking care of Dolly during her stay.  Here are a few pictures of their tour through Bonham's historic sites.  To keep up with all of Dolly's adventures go to www.travelindolly.com.
